    Jessie J Jessica Ellen Cornish, conosciuta col suo nome d'arte Jessie J (Londra, 27 marzo 1988), è la brunetta più amata dal panorama musicale inglese e a soli 22 anni, sta scalando le classifiche di Italia ed Europa con l’ultimo singolo, Price Tag, un pezzo firmato dalla giovane cantante e dal rapper statunitense B.O.B. che ha curato il featuring.

    Jessie J ha ottenuto fama come autrice di testi, tanto da ricevere un contratto dalla Sony ATV. È la coautrice del singolo di Miley Cyrus Party in the U.S.A., nonché l'autrice di canzoni di artisti come Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown (col quale è stata in tournée in Europa), Alicia Keys e Christina Aguilera.

    Il suo primo singolo, Do It Like a Dude, è stato pubblicato nel novembre 2010 e ha raggiunto la seconda posizione della classifica britannica.

    Il 6 dicembre dello stesso anno la BBC ha inoltre annunciato che Jessie J avrebbe fatto parte del sondaggio Sounds of 2011. Il 7 gennaio 2011 fu annunciata la sua vittoria.

    Prima della pubblicazione dell'album di debutto, Who You Are, avvenuta il 25 febbraio 2011, è stata pubblicata la nuova traccia "Price Tag" il 28 gennaio dello stesso anno.

    Il brano è entrato subito in classifica alla prima posizione nel Regno Unito, dove è rimasto per due settimane consecutive.

    Jessie J aveva originariamente scritto Do It Like a Dude per Rihanna, ma ha deciso di tenerla per sé. La stessa sorte è destinata a L.O.V.E., inizialmente destinata ad essere registrata da Alicia Keys, che fa parte della lista tracce dell'album di debutto di Jessie.
